Visiting Arts
Visiting Arts is a national agency which works to ensure high quality contemporary arts are brought into the UK from countries across the world and to extend the dialogue between UK artists and their overseas counterparts. Through its broad range of activities and services, including information, advisory work, training and project development, Visiting Arts aims to develop greater international awareness through the arts and promote positive cultural relations. It is an independent charity established in England which is funded by the British Council, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the four national Arts Councils of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
