Lamia Joreige, born 1972 in Beirut, immigrated to France in 1983. She studied graphic arts in France and cinema and painting at the Rhode Island School of Design, USA, where she received a Bachelor in fine arts. Lamia Joreige lives and works as a painter and video artist in Beirut and Paris. Her work is part of various exhibitions and publications in the Middle East and Europe.
